My name is Carol Gordon, and I am a Christian birth doula with a deep passion for supporting families through the beautiful journey of childbirth. I primarily serve the northern portion of the DFW Metroplex, but have been known to drive over an hour to serve families. I am BEST certified as a birth and postpartum doula, though my focus is on birth for now. I am also a VBAC certified doula with The VBAC Link and TENS Unit certified through Doulaversity.
I am married to the love of my life, and the mother of three adult children. When I’m not doula-ing you can find me spending time with my family, tending to my organic garden, deepening my faith, serving on the Women’s Ministry Team, listening to and singing worship music, or volunteering within my community.
As a believer, I approach my role with faith and prayer, walking alongside you as an advocate and guide through one of life’s most sacred moments. Whether you’re navigating your first pregnancy or welcoming another precious blessing, I tailor my support to meet your unique needs, offering gentle encouragement, evidence-based guidance, and unwavering compassion.
While my Christian faith serves as the foundation of my care, my heart reflects the love of Christ, who embraced and served all people. In the same spirit, I am honored to support families of all different faiths, offering the same care, compassion, respect, and grace.

Why I chose this path
My personal birth experiences have profoundly shaped my approach to doula work. I have lived through the highs and challenges of three very different births: a cesarean due to a breech presentation, an unmedicated VBAC with intense back labor caused by a sunny-side-up baby, and another unmedicated VBAC despite being labeled AMA (advanced maternal age). While I didn’t have a doula for my own births, I vividly remember wishing for one. My last birth, the least painful and quickest, stood out because I was well-informed about my rights and choices, had a truly physiological birth supportive provider, and was empowered to have the birth I desired rather than one driven by hospital policies.
Knowing the difference that knowledge and the perfect birth team can make in achieving the birth a woman desires, was the driving force behind becoming a doula. I say being a doula is my calling, not a job. I believe with all my heart that it is our decision, as women, what our pregnancy journey should look like and we have the control, not our providers! Whether you choose to give birth at home, a birth center, or hospital, I am dedicated to ensuring you feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way, helping you to create the positive and fulfilling birth experience you desire!
It would be my privilege to walk alongside you and your partner as you bring new life into the world, trusting in God’s perfect design and celebrating the sacred beauty of birth.
